For this, and taking into account that the regulatory bases of the admission procedure have become obsolete after Covid 19, a modification has been made to adjust them to the current situation and to be prepared in case the health authorities impose a decrease in the ratio per classroom.The Councilor for Education, Irene Ruiz, has specified that the priority of the City Council is that "our nursery schools are prepared to adapt to the new normality next year, trying to make the admission criteria as fair as possible with the needs of Cartagena families ”.In this way, the following dates have been stipulated:.

On June 18 the provisional lists of those admitted to the Municipal Infant Schools will be published..

From June 18 to 24, the period for submitting claims to said lists is established..

From June 24 to 29 the definitive lists of admitted students will be published..

The parents will have a period of July 30 to 13 to formalize the registrations.Likewise, “new priority criteria will be established in the admission of boys and girls because it is our obligation to protect the most vulnerable and those are the students whose families are at risk of social exclusion, the sons and daughters of victims of violence gender and families in which neither of the two parents have the option of making their schedules more flexible or teleworking, "explained the councilor.In this sense, the priorities are established as follows:1st.

Boys and girls at risk of social exclusion and children of victims of gender violence.2nd.

Placement renewal students who have both parents working and cannot telework or make their schedules more flexible.3rd.

New students who have both parents working and cannot telework or make their schedules more flexible.4th.

Renewal students who have one of the parents without the possibility of making their day more flexible.5th.
