MC: The neglect of the Government in maintenance floods the council of La Palma with dirt and weeds (11/06/2020)

| The local Executive and the presidency of the Neighborhood Board keep their plots in an unhealthy state | This morning, the member of MC Cartagena at the La Palma municipal neighborhood council, María Antonia Pérez, has denounced the deplorable state in which various public spaces of the La Palma council are located. This fact, in Pérez's opinion, has led his training to consider the request for a monographic plenary session that addresses "the evident lack of attention of the City Council with this deputation in terms of maintenance on public roads." Immediately afterwards, María Antonia Pérez has added a fact that is at least curious.

"In what way can the Consistory and the Presidency of the Neighborhood Board demand the cleaning of private plots when some of them who are municipal property or the family of the President of the Neighborhood Board keep theirs in an absolutely lamentable state?" has been asked. In the key of the local Government, the vocalist from Cartagena has put the accent on the person in charge of Health, Manuel Padín (C's), "who after more than five months of having announced to have an inventory of lots does not carry out cleaning actions on them, nor even those who are municipally owned ", as well as the councilor for services, María Casajús (PP)," who is also responsible for keeping Cartagena a prisoner of dirt, weeds and waste in an era, the current one, where cleanliness must take precedence in spaces for public use and urban plots ". Subsequently, the MC representative has denounced another event, the poor collection of belongings, such as furniture, household appliances or pruning remains, "which spend weeks lying on the streets without being picked up, being at the expense of all kinds of vandalism and contributing to set up a depressing scenario.

" To conclude, María Antonia Pérez wished that all councils be treated with "equity" and that, in this way, "La Palma could have a pruning collection container like the one available in Pozo Estrecho".
