Representatives of the industrial sector will give the current job codes in a new ADLE webinar on June 18 (10/06/2020)

| Registrations for the online session can now be formalized, in which spokespersons of companies from the area, institutions and the university will debate | The ADLE hosts next Thursday, June 18, a new online session with experts that this time will analyze the professional needs of the industrial sector in the municipality of Cartagena.

Thus, representatives of companies in the area, associations and the university will detail the most demanded professional profiles and the current labor reality of the sector.The session, which will open at 10 am with the inauguration of the Councilor for Education, Employment and Business and the president of the ADLE, Irene Ruiz, seeks to provide the unemployed or those seeking employment in the industrial sector with the keys to accessing a job, based on the current employment situation due to the COVID-19 health crisis.It will be moderated by the corporate director of Mecánicas Bolea and president of the Association of Industrial and Naval Maintenance Entrepreneurs (AEMIN), Tomás Martínez Pagán, and will count with the participation of important representatives of the sector such as the director in Cartagena of Técnicas Reunidas SA, Juan Antonio de León-Sotelo; the director in Cartagena of OSL Engineering, Fernando Bustelo; the commercial director of Idea Ingeniería, Rafael Manzano; the delegate representative of the Official College of Industrial Engineers of the Murcia Region, Javier Blanco; and the director of the UPCT Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineers, Patricio Franco Chumillas.Finally, the councilor for Tourism and Business, Cristina Pérez, and the manager of the ADLE, Fulgencio Cerón, will be in charge of closing the virtual conference.The session is framed within the initiative of the Local Development and Employment Agency of the Cartagena City Council of webinars by professional sectors to make the people of Cartagena aware of the labor needs of the different labor sectors.In addition, this session is included as a new action of the technical table of the industrial sector, which is focused on coordinating the production needs of large companies in the municipality and their expectations of contracting with training entities and with SMEs."Already in February the technical table of the industrial sector held a very productive meeting that served to put on the table the multiple opportunities for collaboration between administration, companies and social agents to generate more jobs in our municipality," recalled Irene Ruiz.

"Given the exceptional situation that we have experienced in recent months due to the health crisis, this technical table becomes more relevant due to its ability to strengthen ties between the different agents involved and facilitate access to a job for cartageneros and cartageneras in such an important sector for our municipality as the industrial one ”, he remarked.

"On Thursday the 18th, the people of Cartagena and Cartagena will be able to see first-hand, through representatives of companies and institutions,the current labor needs of the sector ”, he concluded.Those interested can already register through the web form.
