Orange warning for rains and storms tomorrow Monday (07/06/2020)

| The AEMET foresees precipitations that could reach 40 liters per square meter | The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) warns that tomorrow, Monday, June 8, there may be storms and rainfall of up to 40 liters per square meter in one hour in Campo de Cartagena and Mazarrón, for which it has issued notice of adverse meteorological phenomenon of orange level for these areas due to rains and storms between 6 and 20 hours on that day.From the Emergency Coordination Center of the Region of Murcia, the notice has been transferred to the Cartagena City Council and its emergency services, which are attentive to the evolution of the next few hours, in the pre-emergency phase.Citizens are reminded of the convenience of checking downspouts, gutters, and sinks to prevent flooding on roofs and basements.Likewise, drive with caution, avoiding unrivaled areas and do not try to wade the back of wadi channels or cross large puddles.In the event of a storm, running outdoors should be avoided and should not be hidden under trees or prominent isolated elements.
