The City Council had registered the property that occupied the bullring, later raised, but these documents did not include the exterior ring of the Amphitheater and everything that is in it, such as the autopsy pavilion.The surface of the bullring occupies a total of 4,547'13 square meters, while that of the Amphitheater exceeds 6,169 square meters.

The excavation revealed that the monument had an area of ??1,622'42 square meters more than the bullring, which was pending registration."This constituted the main stumbling block when requesting aid or subsidies from other administrations to advance its excavation, so we have done all the necessary procedures so that it is legally recognized as property of the Cartagena City Council and we can continue to opt for aid from the ministry ”, explained the mayor.NON-SEXIST ADVERTISINGThe green light has also been given for the preparation of the Non-Sexist Advertising Ordinance to go to public exposure for a period of 30 days, so that citizens can make the relevant contributions.Advertising is conducive to behaviors that promote macho attitudes in our society, by reifying the body of women, assigning roles contrary to gender equality.In this sense, the permissiveness in the use of this type of advertising, normally located in the most visible spaces in our environment, fosters in citizens, especially boys and girls, a sense of normality and tolerance towards these activities, which promotes clear sexist education.ENABLING OFFICIALSThe Governing Board has also approved the bases that must govern the calls for the definitive provision of the positions of Comptroller, Secretary General of the Plenary and Director of the Municipal Government Office of said City Council, reserved for local administration officials with authorization to national character, by the free designation system.These calls have already been issued on other occasions, having been deserted.

Currently these positions are accidentally filled by municipal career officials and another nationally qualified, although of a lower category than that required for municipalities in the population of Cartagena.

The law requires that the places be called periodically until their final provision.WORKING CONDITION AGREEMENTLikewise, the Board has approved the partial suspension and modification of the Working Conditions Agreement for civil servants and the collective agreement for personnel.labor.

The local government has decided to maintain the contribution to the pension plans, the set of social aids, as well as the reduction of the working day for people over 60/63 years of age.The increases contemplated in the Working Conditions Agreement regarding differentiated days and which came into force in 2019 are also maintained, although the amounts will remain frozen until 2023.

By contrast, the recognition of the administrative career is suspended, until the economic conditions of the City Council allow its start-up.
