The urban transport of travelers in Cartagena recovers most of its services and begins to normalize the schedules (28/05/2020)

| Starting this Monday, June 1, the bus lines 8, 9 and 24 are incorporated with activity in the morning, while the lines 5 and 7 will resume their normal schedule and lines 1 and 2 increase in number of vehicles | The Cartagena bus service continues with the increase of passenger lines 8, 9 and 24 in the morning and the return to normal of lines 5 and 7, from June 1, to respond to the demand for users in the municipality of Cartagena after the start of phase 2 of de-escalation and guarantee passenger safety measures, following the plan to restore public transport launched by the City Council, as reported by the Councilor for the Infrastructure Area , María Casajús.Casajús has announced that “the frequency and schedule for tomorrow, from 7:00 to 15:00, on lines 8 and 9 corresponding to ICUEBUS and line 24 that connects the center with Pozo Estrecho, are recovered and restored the frequency and afternoon schedule of the 5.7 lines, which already increased last week in the morning schedule ”and recalled that“ we continue to analyze the number of travelers on a daily basis to adjust the service offer based on demand to guarantee access to public service and passenger security measures ”.The data is provided daily by the concessionaire company Alsa, which estimates a number of travelers in all passenger lines of 6,845 compared to 18,694 last year.

Cartagena- Polígono de Santa Ana: increase from 3 to 6 buses, and frequency 30 min to 15 min.It must be remembered that line 18 (Hospital de Santa Lucía) and 4 (Espacio Mediterráneo) were kept on their regular schedule and frequency.
