ALSA employees wanted to join the initiative launched by the Cartagena City Council on the occasion of the COVID-19 crisis and made a solidarity contribution of more than 1,000 kilos of food.Specifically, members of the works council have made a donation at the Wsell municipal pavilion in Guimbarda, made up of foods such as oil, pasta, eggs, and breakfast products.Pedro Céspedes, one of the representatives of the workers, highlighted "the great satisfaction that all our colleagues have felt to be able to help in an initiative as important as this and we are delighted to meet this very human team that is carrying it out."On the occasion of this donation, the councilor delegate for Social Services, Mercedes García, wanted to thank the ALSA works council for their contribution.

"The solidarity of Cartagena companies and institutions has been essential these weeks.

Donations such as those of ALSA employees have contributed to the fact that the Social Emergency Operation has been able to reach hundreds of families each week to guarantee that the most needy can receive food and basic hygiene products, "said Mercedes García.The councilor delegate for Social Services and the mayor of Sustainable City and European Projects, Cristina Mora, yesterday visited the Wsell pavilion in Guimbarda and collaborated in the preparation of food packages and personal hygiene products that will be distributed among the 400 families at risk who benefit from this initiative.
