| Alberto Ibarz will open the cycle on Friday, May 15, at 9:30 am, via zoom, with 'Keys to a new positioning in the tourism segment of events' | El Batel Auditorium and Conference Center organizes a series of talks with MICE tourism experts (meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions).

Alberto Ibarz will offer the first of these talks, 'Keys to a new positioning in the event tourism segment'.

It will be on Friday, May 15 at 9:30 am, via zoom. Since its opening, the auditorium has been working intensively on the national and international promotion of the city of Cartagena and the 'El Batel' congress facilities, to position the city in the business tourism segment.

In these moments in which the biggest health and economic crisis is looming over the tourism sector, and especially over the meetings and congresses segment, the auditorium proposes a series of meetings with professionals from different areas of business tourism, who will give pills knowledge, from the points of view of the sector, to be able to find the keys that help to get out of the crisis. The talks with MICE experts will start with the one offered by Alberto Ibarz, which will present the 'Keys to a new positioning in the event tourism segment'.

Ibarz is CEO FullTeam Networks, specialist in the positioning and marketing of hotels, destinations and tourism and luxury companies in international markets such as the United Kingdom, Brazil, Mexico, USA, India, Russia, the Middle East and China, among others.

In addition, he has participated in the internationalization of Spanish tourism companies, the development of global sales offices and the global marketing of leading companies in the tourism sector and is also a specialist in both the corporate market and specialized agencies in the MICE segment in Spain and in the main issuing markets. Passionate about sales and marketing, with a long experience in the hospitality business, he has been among other positions: Commercial and Marketing Director at the Ritz with Le Meridien and Orient Express, Southern Europe VP of Easy Solutions PLC and Commercial Director Global from Kuoni Destination Management.

He is in love with Cartagena and the Region of Murcia, having had the opportunity to know her for more than 10 years, personally and professionally.
