More than a thousand spectators have enjoyed the online festival Somos deHere (11/05/2020)

| At the event, organized by the Cartagena City Council last weekend, numerous artists from the port city gathered | The City Council of Cartagena has been very satisfied with the repercussion that the online festival Somos de Aqui has had, organized this past weekend, on 8.9 and 10 May, through the Facebook page of the Department of Culture and that it has gathered more than a thousand spectators.“For us it has been a complete success because, thanks to the talent of our local artists, it has been possible for more than a thousand people to disconnect from what has been our reality in recent months and fully immerse themselves in the impressive cultural fabric that we have in Cartagena ”, stated the councilor for the area of ??Culture, David Martínez. The event, which has followed the essence of one of the stages of La Mar de Músicas, the Somos deHere stage, has given place to numerous singers who are part of the cultural fabric of Cartagena, and who represent part of the new batch of artists of the port city. The artistic proposals have been of great diversity, with repertoires of their own composition such as those of Carlos Zambrana, Lydia Martín or Irmante.

Others based on versions and adaptations of songs known as Julia Baeza and Ainhoa ??García.

And several who have mixed their own with covers such as Ana Tomás or Claudia Vergott and Álvaro Castillo, who broadcast from his current residence in Brighton. The proposal of Alfonso Martínez was remarkable, with an instrumental repertoire of classical music in which poetry written by the artist himself alternated, as well as that of Río Viré who, through the edition of live video, contributed information from his compositions.

To these we must add the original staging of the group Karmacadabra, which mixed sound and recorded images with musicians of the band and collaborators, or Mood Swing, who took advantage of the proximity of the group's musician gardens to make a joint concert.Following the work dynamics of the Department of Culture, the festival had a 50 percent female program.
