The Cartagena City Council will celebrate a tribute to the victims of the coronavirus when the health crisis ends (30/04/2020)

| Meanwhile, the flags will remain at half-staff and with black crepes as a sign of mourning, adding to the official mourning decreed by the regional government last year April 3 | The Cartagena City Council has ratified the official mourning decreed on April 3 by the government of the Region of Murcia, as a sign of mourning for the fatalities of the Covid-19 pandemic registered both in the Autonomous Community and in the rest from Spain, as stated in the decree issued by the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, and which she realized during the plenary session of the municipal corporation held this Thursday, April 30.In it, it is recalled that the City Council joined this mourning from the outset by making the flags located in municipal public buildings wave at half-mast and lighting black banners on the banners located inside the institutional headquarters, an initiative that will continue as long as the regional government does it.In addition, this decree calls for the end of the health crisis, for the celebration in Cartagena of an act of tribute to the deceased and their families, as well as to professionals and citizens who fight in the first line this disease and try to mitigate its effects for the rest of the citizens.
