Children return to the streets of Cartagena (26/04/2020)

| Normality on the first day of departure of the little ones | The streets of Cartagena, neighborhoods and councils have welcomed children this Sunday, April 26, who, after more than a month of confinement, have had the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. The morning has passed normally.

“The people of Cartagena have given an example, once again, of their responsibility and knowing how to be.

It is a great joy to see our streets again with children laughing and playing ”, highlighted the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón.It must be remembered that the Alarm State is maintained and that it is necessary to respect the established norms that imply that children cannot leave a kilometer away from their homes, that they cannot approach less than two meters away from other people, that they must be accompanied by an adult with whom they live or by a caregiver and the children's play areas must not be used."We must continue to take precautionary measures because the pandemic is still there.

This is the beginning of the return to normality, but to recover it completely we must continue to be cautious and respect social distancing and hygiene standards.

Taking care of ourselves, we take care of everyone else.

Today we take an important step, but we must continue to make progress, ”said Castejón.
