The eleventh edition of the Mucho Más Mayo emerging art festival, which was to be held this year between May 8 and 17, will go to 2021. The City Council of Cartagena transfers this event to the next year due to the health crisis caused by the coronavirus .
The theme chosen for this edition "Before the collapse. Art and climatic emergency" is maintained for 2021. The festival program was well advanced and the organization is committed to having all these projects for the next edition.
The Councilor for Culture of the Cartagena City Council, Carlos Piñana, has pointed out that it is “a logical measure against the prevention and non-spread of Covid 19. The most important thing is to protect the health of our citizens, against something that can be organized and enjoyed in coming years.
We still do not know the measures that will be established for confinement in the coming months, we have a responsibility and we will strictly comply with all the measures, in order to protect the citizens. â€
