Agents of the Cartagena Local Police arrested a 51-year-old man yesterday as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery in a tobacco shop in the Santa Lucia neighborhood.

The events took place at ten in the morning, when a notice was received at the base of 092.

Once on the scene, the agents managed to locate the individual in the vicinity of the establishment, where after pushing a worker and knocking him to the ground, he had unsuccessfully tried to steal the money from the cash register, taking various packs of tobacco.

After their arrest and reading of rights, the agents carried out the police proceedings in this regard.
