The Posadas de España and Manolo hotels have joined the wave of solidarity by donating protection material for the use of the health personnel of the Santa Lucía and Rosell hospitals, as well as municipal workers, specifically the Local Police, Fire, Civil Protection and volunteers from the Social Emergency Operation, and Social Services staff.
Posadas de España and the Hotel Manolo have donated more than 1,500 shower caps, which can be used by health workers as part of protective measures against the coronavirus.
All the material was collected by Civil Protection volunteers and was distributed this Wednesday by members of the Cartagena Fire Department among hospital centers.
The Councilor for Tourism, Cristina Pérez, thanked the Cartagena hoteliers for their solidarity, “who are turning to the moment when we most need help.
We are fully aware that the hotel sector is suffering especially this crisis, like all those related to Tourism.
However, they continue to support everything that is necessary. â€
