Navantia and the Intercentros Committee have reached an agreement for the application of Royal Decree-Law 10/2020 of March 29 (01/04/2020)

Given the prolongation of the state of alarm declared by the Government until April 12 and the approval by the Government of Royal Decree 10/2020 of March 29, the Company Management and the Inter-Center Committee have reached the following agreement:

The approval of a recoverable paid permit, mandatory and limited in time between March 30 and April 9 (both included), for all those who do not currently carry out any on-site activity.

In the Emergency Committees, the minimum services that are set up to meet the continuity of the minimum essential activity in the work centers will be reviewed, in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree-Law 10/20.

People who are on sick leave due to temporary disability or whose contract is suspended for other legally established causes (maternity, paternity), those affected by the ERE 20/2019, as well as people who can continue to carry out their activity normally at a distance, will not be affected by this measure

The recovery of the hours of work not provided during the paid leave will be effective from the day following the end of the Alarm State until December 31, 2020

Both the Company Management and the Workers' Representation share that the current situation is exceptional and unprecedented, derived from this health, social and economic crisis that has made it impossible to continue productive activity.

In this context, Navantia's fundamental priority is to continue to maintain, in compliance with the recommendations of the competent authorities, the measures adopted since the start of the pandemic, to help limit the expansion of Covid19 and preserve the health of the entire workforce.

Likewise, it considers essential to guarantee their economic viability, their own employment and that of the collaborating industries, the operation of strategic capacities, as well as facilitating the recovery of productive activity in all workplaces as soon as the health situation improves.

Once the situation is normalized, activities will be resumed immediately to guarantee compliance with all programs, implementing the necessary mitigation plans to minimize the impact that this unforeseen situation may cause.

Navantia, in close collaboration with the government and regional authorities, continues to actively contribute to the collective effort of the entire country, making available all the means and facilities to help overcome this COVID 19 crisis in society.
