The Cartagena City Council has today released a video on the internet and social networks thanking the different professionals who are fighting on the front line the spread of the coronavirus and making it possible for citizens to have their basic daily needs covered in their domestic confinement.

As the mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, has pointed out, "we wanted to express in an emotional way the committed attitude of the health workers, security forces, officials, the armed forces, the media, contract personnel, supermarket employees, transporters and others many workers and citizens who face us on a daily basis and transmit confidence in our values ​​as a society and hope for our immediate future. "

That is why the video, after thanking them for their example, encourages citizens to continue staying at home, "because it is the only way to stop the spread and make the number of cases begin to drop," added the mayor;

"The only way to enjoy all that we have had to park again and that we will soon relive with greater intensity."

The video has been produced by the Department of Communication and Protocol of the Mayor's Office with the collaboration of the company SonidoVisual, which has yielded its script and sound.
