The Department of Equality recalls that the CAVI continues to assist victims of gender violence (24/03/2020)

The Department of Equality of the Cartagena City Council continues to work to maintain basic services electronically, among which is the Network of Centers for Assistance to Victims of Gender Violence, during the Alarm State derived from COVID-19.

In Cartagena, the Specialized Care Center for Women Victims of Violence (CAVI) continues to operate, from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., by attending calls through the phone 968128820. You can also contact through email sending a message to the address: cartagena@cavis.es.

Councilor for Equality, David Martínez, explained that "we want these women to know that they are not alone and that in our CAVI we will continue to provide service and advise them on everything they need."

NETWORK OF SPECIALIZED ATTENTION CENTERS

From Equality, an appeal is made to all citizens of Cartagena to become aware and alert the authorities if they know of any cases.

016: This telephone service for advice and advice on gender violence provides its services 24 hours a day and in 51 languages.

CAVIS

The CAVIs offer comprehensive, personalized and free care, for the time necessary to be able to get out of the situation of abuse. The care provided is carried out in an integral way from different professional approaches (legal, social and psychological).

In these centers, an intervention program is proposed that is appropriate to the objectives and needs of each woman, without the requirement of prerequisites and not limited in time.
