The Cartagena City Council has ordered the provisional closure of the ecoparks of La Asomada and La Vaguada, in compliance with instructions from the General Directorate of the Environment of the Autonomous Community, within the measures against the spread of COVID-19.
This decision, which responds to new recommendations from the Ministry for the Ecological Transition, comes the day after the suspension of the service of the mobile clean points was communicated.
The City Council has given instructions to the company that manages the facilities so that the personnel are relocated in cleaning tasks and to keep open the means of contact with the public to attend to inquiries and requests regarding recycling or collection of belongings, which may be carried out in the phone 968522050 and the email of the Cartagena City Council residues@ayto-cartagena.es
