This week the meetings with the author continue in the Municipal Libraries, on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 March with the visit of the author and illustrator Álvaro Núñez, a member of the Lechuza Team, who will meet with readers of 4th Primary of the Cartagena schools and its region.
The Lechuza Team are the creators, among others, of “Detective Lechuza†of Anaya Publishing House.
Students have read the first volume of it, "The Origin", may chat with Álvaro Nuñez about the work.
The turn of the meetings will begin on Wednesday, March 11, this first day will have all the sessions in the Rafael Rubio de los Dolores Library, meeting with students from the Sacred Heart, Our Lady of Sorrows and San Cristobal schools.
The second day, Thursday, March 12, will also have three sessions, the first one will be in the auditorium of the Cultural Center "Ramón Alonso Luzzy", with Marist students and the remaining two sessions will be in the Manuel Puig Library Campillo, from Barrio Peral, with students from Vicente Ros and San Félix schools.
BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES
Miguel Can (1974), Álvaro Núñez (1972) and Alberto Díaz (1972) are the creators of "Lechuza Detective" and "Carla y Lechuga".
The three felt from a young age a special inclination for drawing.
Contagious of the universe of cartoons they saw on TV, the adventure comics and the mystery books they read, they ended up studying Fine Arts, Architecture and cartoons respectively.
This passion ends up becoming a profession, each working on their own for publishers and design and communication companies;
which makes possible his participation in projects that include from the comic, the web design, the animation, textbooks, decoration of spaces and many more thematic projects as exciting as environmental education, food and health, and humor among many others.
