AMPIEC will deliver its second edition of awards (06/03/2020)

The jewelry designer and founder of the firm Suma Cruz, Susana Cruz;

The Vice Chancellor for Research of the UPCT, Beatriz Miguel and Dr. Rocío García, will be the award-winning women together with the newspaper La Opinión and Cope Cartagena.

This Saturday, March 7, at the Museum of the Roman Theater of Cartagena, the Association of Professional Women, Researchers and Entrepreneurs of Cartagena and the Region of Murcia, will deliver the II edition of awards, during the IV Commemorative Conference of International Women's Day under the slogan "adding experiences".

These awards distinguish women for their projection of the future, social commitment and whose experience and trajectory stands out in the professional, research and entrepreneurial field.

The media that demonstrate their commitment to female visibility is also recognized.

The recognition in this II edition of the "professional woman" is Dr. Rocío García, a specialist in the digestive system, for her "professionalism, strength and commitment to others."

In the category "woman researcher", it has been granted to the Vice Chancellor of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, Beatriz de Miguel, for her "commitment, support, defense and promotion of research in the university and social environment."

In the category "enterprising woman", the association distinguishes the designer of jewels and founder of the firm Suma Cruz, Susana Cruz, for "her recognized entrepreneurial career, creative spirit, innovation and improvement."

In addition to the recognition in these three categories, a fourth category will be delivered to the media committed to women's visibility to the newspaper La Opinión and the radio station COPE Cartagena.

The president of the Port Authority, Yolanda Muñoz, will be the one to carry out the keynote intervention of the Day under the slogan "women in the port world".

Subsequently, a table of professional experiences will be developed moderated by the Director of the Roman Theater Museum, Elena Ruiz and integrated by the Head of Purchasing and Subcontracting of Navantia, Victoria Eugenia Ruiz;

the Captain of the Military Health Corps, Begoña Evelia Sánchez;

the Director of the Polytechnic IES of Cartagena, Rosa Laborda Peñalver and the International Concertist, Laura Rodríguez Moreno.
