In order to keep the traditions of the West area alive, the City Council of Cartagena and the Perín Neighborhood Board collaborate in the organization of various workshops, including dance, trovo and music.
MUSIC WORKSHOP
Tallante's music workshop, both guitar and bandurria, will take place on Fridays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., during the months of March to June, in the social hall, and is organized by the Tallante Gang.

TROVO WORKSHOP
The Galifa and La Magdalena trovo workshop will be held from March to November, on alternate Saturdays, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in the social hall and is organized by the José María Marín Trovera Association.

DANCE WORKSHOP
The Perín dance workshop will cover the jota, the malagueña and the parranda, and is organized by the Tallante Gang and the Perín Aqueduct Musical Group from March to June, and from October to December, Mondays from 17:00 to 19: 00 hours in the Social Hall.
