Meeting with Pepe Serrano in the Municipal Libraries (04/03/2020)

The writer from Zaragoza, Pepe Serrano, will visit Cartagena from Wednesday 4 to Friday 6 March to hold meetings with students from the 2nd grade of primary schools in the municipality and their region, framed within the program of activities of the Network of Municipal Libraries.

To do this, the boys have read and worked on the book "The Amazing Journey of Mr. Bianchi's Voice" by Anaya Publishing House.

TURNOS OF THE MEETINGS

On the first day, Wednesday, March 4, the author will have three sessions at the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center Library, in the auditorium.

They will be attended by students from the Stella Maris, La Concepción, Luis Vives, Fernando Garrido, La Vaguada and Maristas schools.

On the second day, on Thursday, March 5, the author will have a first session, at 9:30, again in the Cultural Center Library, with students from the San Vicente de Paul school.

And the next two sessions at the Manuel Puig Campillo Library, in the Peral District.

There he will meet with students from the Ciudad Jardín, Vicente Ros and San Félix schools.

Finally, on the third day, on Friday, March 6, the author in the libraries will spend it at the Rafael Rubio Library, in Los Dolores, where he will hold two sessions and meet with boys and girls from San Cristóbal, Sagrado Corazón and Our Lady of Sorrows.

BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

Pepe Serrano was born in Zaragoza in 1978, and graduated in Teaching in the specialty of Musical Education.

He works as a teacher in a Primary School.

Since 2009 he has published the books Máziel SpĂźck and the mystery of the painting, Fast food for turtles and Peponman, in Nalvay, the latter together with Álvaro Ortiz.

In addition, he has co-authored with Daniel Nesquens Almost a million stories (Edelvives, 2013).

In 2015 he won the XXXIII Vila d'Ibi Children's Narrative Contest with his book The Amazing Journey of Mr. Bianchi.

In 2017, he published with Apila Ediciones the album with which the publishing house celebrated its first 10 years: How to wrap a gift in 10 steps.
