The Collective "La Huertecica" is an Association of social initiative, created in 1983 and declared a Public Utility, whose main purpose is the action in the field of addictions and social exclusion.
For over thirty years we have been carrying out rehabilitation and social and labor incorporation programs in the Region of Murcia, aimed at people in situations of personal and social difficulty and their families.
Since 2013 we organize this event annually which consists of the competition (The urban mile is a popular race of 1,609 meters away), together with parallel activities aimed at people of all ages (boys and girls, youth and adults): Zumba solidarity, games, workshops, etc.
In addition, the three Educational Centers that register more participants will receive a gift.
With this event, the La Huertecica Collective Association wants to carry out an experience, within the preventive field, that promotes sport and healthy practice, encounter and coexistence and that fosters solidarity with the most disadvantaged people.
From La Huertecica we encourage you to participate so that this message is disseminated if it is considered convenient, and thus achieve a greater number of participants.
