CEIP schoolchildren José María de la Puerta visit the Speed ​​Circuit (10/02/2020)

The Speed ​​Circuit of Cartagena has received the visit of primary students of the CEIP José María de la Puerta, in an activity organized by the Department of Sports, within the ADE Program (Approach to Elite Sports).

The day began in the control tower in the meeting room with an educational talk.

The students received all kinds of information corresponding to the technical functioning of the Circuit.

They also had the opportunity to know and learn the terminology of the circuits, for which they showed great interest, asking questions, receiving the appropriate explanation by Leticia, the technique of external relations of the Circuit.

Then they visited the control tower to know and observe from a perspective a panoramic view of the circuit while meeting the commissioners and knowing their functions.

Then they went to the gallery to witness part of the motorcycle training of the teams that were doing their tests.

The most attractive moment was when the students went down to the pit area to be with the riders and watch the bikes up close, some of them getting on to take pictures and experience the sensation of getting on a racing motorcycle.

Then they went to the podium area, where they held a photo shoot.

During the visit the students of the educational center were given teaching material with information about the Speed ​​Circuit.

The ADE program is organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena and the Official College of Graduates in Physical Education and Sports of the Autonomous Community.
