The UPCT Esports has revalidated, with a worthy comeback, its hegemony in the southern conference of the Clash Royale University League, thereby re-qualifying to dispute the national phase in this modality of the Amazon University Esports.
The students of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena Miguel Jorquera Escudero (of Engineering in Industrial Technologies), Francisco José Torralba Moreno (of Naval Architecture and Marine Systems Engineering), Luis Enrique Martínez de la Morena (of Mechanical Engineering) and Alejandro López Conesa ( Administration and Business Management) went back last Saturday a 0-2 to impose 3-2 on the Sharks of the University of Murcia at the end of the Ignis Conference (which brings together teams from universities in southern Spain).
The national teams will access the champion teams of the four conferences in the first and second semester of the course.
The electronic sports team of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, was founded in the 2016-17 academic year and has players from League of Legends (LoL), Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, Hearthstone, Fortnite and Teamfight Tactics (TFT), being integrated and managed entirely by university students.
