This Saturday, January 25, starts the 2020 season of the VII Cartagena Jonda Flamenco Cycle, by the hand of the Cuban bailaora, Yasaray Rodríguez, based in Seville since 2001, who will star in the first flamenco dance performance of this season at 9:30 p.m. in the Mare Nostrum restaurant, in the Port of Cartagena.
After being part of the National Ballet of Cuba, in 2001 he established himself in Seville and began his career as a flamenco dancer with professors such as Milagros Menjibar, Carmen Ledesma or Javier Barón.
It is currently the National Dance Award for Joys in the National Contest of Cádiz.
It will be accompanied by an excellent singer: Edu Hidalgo.
Natural of Badajoz, born in a family of deep flamenco tradition.
With 18 years he settled in Seville where he began his career as a singer for dance, training at the Cristina Heeren Foundation with greats such as Calixto Sánchez or Arcángel.
In 2019, he published his first album, "What I feel and what I am, with which he has consolidated his figure as a lead singer on the stages throughout Spain.
Accompanying the guitar will be attended by Javi Gomez, a native of Madrid, and a resident of Seville since 2005. Regular guitarist in the flamenco scene of Seville, where he has tanned as a bailaor for dance.
Tickets are priced at 15 euros, (free for members of the club).

The eventro is organized by the Peña Flamenca de Cartagena, Antonio Piñana, and sponsored by the Cartagena City Council and the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Region of Murcia.
