MC Cartagena asks Padín to clarify his role in the possible fraud of the citizens' primary (21/01/2020)

This morning we had breakfast with the news that appeared in the newspaper 'La Verdad' that informs that 93% of the votes received by Isabel Franco to win the citizens' primary in the face of the regional elections of last May 26 were issued from the surroundings of the headquarters of the training in the city of Murcia.

This possible fraud was tackled a few weeks ago by the national dome of Citizens, publicly admitting the alleged irregularity of a process that favored Franco to the detriment of the other candidate, Cartagena Pérez Pérez.

In this context, the deputy spokesman of MC Cartagena and president of the formation, Jesús Giménez, wanted to value the 'role' played by the general secretary of Citizens in Cartagena, Manuel Padín.

"He must go out (Padín) to give explanations and clarify if he was part of that punch for the benefit of Isabel Franco and to the detriment of the Cartagena and Cartagener candidate, Leonardo Pérez, who was to lead the candidacy of citizens at the regional level," added Giménez .

"It is clear that the party did not want, nor did Isabel Franco. And that in Murcia there were irregularities with the vote by mail."

Regarding Cartagena, he has emphasized the fact that "80% or 90% of the votes left the same place. Given this, Padín remains silent and seems to be aligned with Isabel Franco."

"If it does not go out to explain it, we will have to understand that of 'the one who is silent grants' and that Padin was part of that pucherazo that is being investigated in the Courts," concluded the Cartagenerist leader.
