Ana Belén Nicolás has announced tonight her resignation as president of Somos Cartagena and her discharge as an affiliate of the regional party of which she was also founder.
"Putting an end point is not easy," says Nicolás.
"Since October I have been evaluating this decision and, finally, I have decided to unsubscribe as an affiliate because the regional project that we started, with such enthusiasm, is not the party that I contemplate since the departure of its founding president, Mr. Alberto Garre. Who have I I had the opportunity to meet and thank you for the trust you placed in me to start, with total freedom, We are Region in the city of Cartagena and for whom I was encouraged to participate in an honest, coherent and democratic policy to defend the Region of Murcia within the constitutional and Europeanist values, in a united Spain and in which the city of Cartagena would be in its rightful place. "
After his decision to leave the game, a new stage for the local group is opened.
Nicolás says: "I am sure that there will be colleagues who want to go along the lines of the new regional direction. I do not share it, neither in the arguments nor in the forms. In politics it is not worth everything nor is it worth all".
