This past weekend, Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 January, the competition resumed after the break for the Christmas holidays, with the dispute of the 9th day of the XXVII edition of the Regional League of Baseball of the City of Cartagena playing more than a hundred meetings from the bottle category to cadet and females.

In the competitive aspect, the teams started the new year, striving to make a good game, practicing sportsmanship and trying to impose on their rivals of the day.

Thus, in the prebenjamin category "A", the AD Franciscanos in group I and the EFB Balsicas in group II, are the leaders of the category after imposing 10-5 and 2-4 against the AD Barrio Peral and CD Mediterráneo respectively.

On the other hand, in the pre-baby category "B", the EF Santa Ana "B" in group I and the EF La Aljorra in group II, are the first classified after winning their matches by 3-4 and 1-5 against CD Algar and EF Dolores de Pacheco respectively.

This championship is organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena and has the collaboration of the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, General Directorate of Sports of the Autonomous Community, the Technical Committee of Referees of Cartagena, the Club Association of the Region of Cartagena (AFCT), the COLEF of the Region of Murcia and CESPIA Sport.

Huerto Motor and La Ruta de Santiago Restaurant remain leaders in first and second division

For its part, in the second division, La Ruta de Santiago Restaurante, continues first, after beating 7-0 against Asadero Maribel FC, followed by Fontanería Soto just 2 points.
