MC Cartagena studies denouncing the scam to officials (14/01/2020)

"What happened with the working conditions agreement is like a big scam."

With these words, the spokesman of MC Cartagena, José López, began by arguing the procedure adopted by the former PSOE government that materialized on April 11 with the 'express' signature of the agreement on the working conditions of the officials and the agreement of the labor staff of the City Council for the next four years (until December 31, 2022.

López recalled that, given the imminence of the electoral campaign, "the signatories (the PSOE Executive) skipped the procedure and coaxed the officials in April to get votes. For their part, the current government (PP, C's and transfugas ) has kept the deception charged to the pocket of all cartageneros until they have been able to more ".

Fair demand and mandatory resignation

The cartagenerista leader has continued to recognize that "we understand that public employees claim the signed, as well as if it is unfeasible to demand the resignation of the Government in full, with Arroyo, Castejón and Nieto at the head."

In line with this position, the mayor said that "we even believe that they should demand that they respond with their assets to the conditions that the City Council cannot meet, because they have laughed at everyone. At this point it is worth remembering that there is a union representative of those who helped create this 'lash' that should now respond with them. "

Finally, José López has stated that "we are studying the legal situation and we can announce that if the local government tells the truth in its current position (and we will check it in the file), we will have to take it to court because it could be a assumption of prevarication and embezzlement of public money.
