Castejón 'imposes on Arroyo the noise ordinance that the PP rejected in March for incomplete (19/12/2019)

This morning, during the celebration of the extraordinary plenary session convened for this purpose, the local government has approved, initially, the 'new' noise ordinance.

The Popular Party, today a member of 'La Trinca', has changed the vote that it issued last March giving its approval to a text that it rejected nine months ago.

Therefore, six months, what we have been in the legislature, is the time that Castejón and Arroyo have consented to a state of unprotection for hoteliers and neighbors to end up presenting the same incomplete document that was already discarded.

The spokesman of MC Cartagena, José López, in relation to the incongruity experienced this morning, stressed that "the text contains the same shortcomings that we saw in the month of March", noting at the same time that what was approved today continues "without giving solutions They have not made an ordinance that balances the requests of the hoteliers with the right to rest of the neighbors. Castejón is in a hurry to take the photo in openings but none when decisions have to be taken, "he has wielded.

Subsequently, he explained what should have been the natural process of drafting and defining the ordinance.

"They had to have summoned the political groups, the citizens and hoteliers to work on the revision of the ordinance and to contemplate the regulations that respond to the future challenges of Cartagena as a tourist municipality."

In line with this last argument, the Cartagena leader has meant that "this is literally what the Popular Party said when it was not part of 'La Trinca'. Nothing has changed in the ordinance so that they now see it as a document that provides solutions of consensus and coexistence among all the affected sectors.Or, yes, it has changed that in the egos game of the mayors, one day one sneaks a goal to her friend and, the next day, the mayor scored tries to counterattack with another goal for the squad. The forms keep them, but the traces of blood from their stabs and distrust are 'vox populi' in this house. "

Promises to hoteliers

Then, the spokesman of MC has lamented that "we want to sell (the mayor) a consensus document with all sectors."

"It is not true. If so, I would have the favorable vote of all the groups of this Plenary, but far from sitting down with the groups and agreeing, what they have done is ask for a vote of confidence from the hoteliers, specifically to HOSTECAR, under the promise that their amendments to the text they present today will be admitted, but wouldn't it be more logical, if those allegations are going to be admitted, that the text would pick them up from the beginning? "

After highlighting the absurdity of the approach of the local Executive, Lopez said that "as expected, logic does not prevail. Well because the one that today is Castejón to Arroyo, and forces her to leave her party and those who preceded her in this Plenary as liars (pure evil or redundancy, because we already know what they are capable of in the PP) or, what is worse, because it deceives the hoteliers and their employers again. Time will tell. "
