The Christmas showcase contest, which this year celebrates its eighth edition, opens today, Thursday, December 5, the registration period for all those businesses belonging to the municipality that decorate their establishments with Christmas and holiday motives under the premise of boosting trade Close and traditional.

Those interested may submit their application, attached to this information, until December 13 accompanied by a photograph of their window already decorated and must keep it until the end of the holidays, that is, on January 6, 2020.

This was reported Thursday in the presentation of the contest, which has taken place at the City Hall, by the second deputy mayor and mayor of the Commerce Area, Manuel Padín, accompanied by the director of Radio Cartagena - Cadena SER, Antonio Rosa, collaborators of the contest together with the newspaper La Opinión.

Any trade with a sales area of ​​less than 300 m² may participate, except those selling furniture that may exceed it.

As in previous editions, participants who wish may have pieces from the Regional Craft Center for the decoration of shop windows.

The winners will be announced on January 14, consisting of an advertising campaign of the establishment in written press in the case of the first prize, a radio report on Radio Cartagena Ser for the winner of the second prize and the insertion of the logo of the winning trade on the web of commerce and its diffusion in social networks.

Applications may be submitted in person at the General Registry of the City Council, at any OMITA, at the post offices or electronically through the Electronic Office of the City Council.
