Six supermarkets and the store of thrones and images of the Brotherhood of Our Father Risen Jesus have been this year the places where this association of faithful of the Church has carried out its traditional Campaign for Food Collection, on the occasion of Christmas, That took place last weekend.
On Friday and Saturday, non-perishable food and cash donations were collected in the thrones and images store of the Brotherhood of Mahón Street.
On Saturday there were several teams of volunteers from the Confraternity in the various supermarkets in the city: Avda. Juan Carlos I Day and Santa Florentina Street in Cartagena;
Upper Spar of Trafalgar Street, Parque de la Rosa;
and Mercadona la Vaguada in Cartagena.
And on Sunday, a group of volunteers was at the Upper Spar shopping center in Cabo de Palos.
From the Brotherhood of the Risen One, this food collection campaign is valued as a success for those who need it most, which constitutes one of the pillars of its charitable work.
