Cartagena's merchant associations will be announced through a dissemination campaign carried out by the ADLE (02/12/2019)

The Agency for Local Development and Employment of Cartagena will start a campaign to disseminate the work of merchant associations in the municipality.

For this, a dozen videos have been recorded, one for each merchant association, which will be disseminated through social networks in order to highlight the advantages that it has to buy in what is known as the proximity trade.

The campaign was presented this Monday, December 2 at the La Milagrosa Building.

The Councilor for the Employment and Business Area of ​​Cartagena, Irene Ruiz, has presented the campaign with the Councilor for the Area of ​​Commerce, Manuel Padín, and the Councilor for Tourism and Business, Cristina Pérez.

In each video, the president of each association details the work they do, their area of ​​influence and the commercial sectors they encompass.

The videos are included as one more promotional action within the Commercial Area Comcentric campaign of Cartagena and can also be viewed on the Commerce website of the City of Cartagena.

The Councilor for Employment and Business of Cartagena, Irene Ruiz, believes that "this is an important initiative since the objective is that all citizens of Cartagena know the advantages of buying in the proximity trade. In addition, the Agency fulfills a commitment as is to be able to bet on the economic growth of the municipality. "

For his part, the Councilor of the Area of ​​Commerce of Cartagena, Manuel Padín, said that "trade must be given a boost in this city, especially small businesses. These are the synergies that must be marked, I think we must change many of them, little by little, the promotion of local commerce is being promoted with these things.

In addition, the mayor of Commerce says they are waiting for the constitution of the Commerce Council to generate a "vision of the future with concrete things" to perform in the sector.

Specifically, videos have been made of the San Fernando Commercial Area, La Milla Commercial Area, Cénit Shopping Center, Open Shopping Center, Cartagena Customized Trade Association (ACOPEC), La Aljorra Business and Commerce Association, Merchants and Entrepreneurs Association Algareños, Association of Sellers Mercado Santa Florentina, Association of Merchants of Los Belones and Association of Merchants and Businessmen of La Manga and Cabo de Palos.

With this action, the ADLE maintains its commitment to favor the economic development of Cartagena and to favor local commerce by reminding citizens of the wide offer it has at its disposal.
