"Cartagena for inclusion" fills the streets of the city center with yellow (02/12/2019)

This Sunday, December 1, began the events around the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, which is commemorated on Tuesday, Day 3, with a solidarity march under the motto 'Cartagena for inclusion' in collaboration with collaborating entities and associations With this collective in the city.

He left at 11 am from the Plaza de España with a tour of Calle del Carmen, Icue and Calle Mayor to Plaza del Ayuntamiento, where the manifesto was read in favor of full inclusion, in which all participants wore t-shirts Yellow color, identifying this group.

The square also hosted recreational activities with live music by the Stolen group with inflatables for children, children's drawing and painting workshops, as well as the installation of information tables of the collaborating entities.

The vice mayor, Noelia Arroyo, accompanied these entities and associations during the march and the events together with the Councilor for Social Services, Mercedes García, and the mayor of Education, Irene Ruiz.

The events will continue on Monday, day 2 with the great sporting event 'We are all capable' with the participation of a total of nine municipal clubs, which will be held at the Cartagena Sports Palace and the Cartagonova stadium.

It will be on Tuesday day 3 when the International Day of Persons with Disabilities is celebrated with talks and round tables at the CIM, closing the activities around this day with a cultural offer on days 4 and 5 with a tour of the sculptures of Cartagena guided by the sculptor Juan José Quirós, a visit to Kraser's exhibition at the Roman Theater and a recital by Miguel Alcantud and María Dolores Cayuela.
