Cartagena celebrates the rights of children with the smallest of the municipality (14/11/2019)

On Wednesday, November 20, Universal Children's Rights Day is celebrated and Cartagena will join the little ones with events throughout the day with schoolchildren in the municipality in collaboration with the Department of Education, Social Services, Sports and Youth of City Council, within the project 'Cartagena City Child Friendly'.

It will be from 10 am when students from the educational centers arrive at the Port of Cartagena, where they can enjoy animations by the Autopía Collective and are received at the Consistorial Palace, to later read a manifesto at 10.50 am on the stairway in charge of representatives of the Municipal Council of Children and Adolescents.

The streets of the city center will be filled with the smallest in the 'Walk for your rights' march that will leave at 11h from the main street, passing through Puertas de Murcia, Calle del Carmen, Alameda de San Antón and the Cartagonova Stadium, to finally reach Vallejo Alberola Park where all participants will have breakfast and children's entertainment with a great final dance.

The events will continue in the afternoon at 16.30h with the discovery of the hallmark in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Cartagena as a Child Friendly City by the minor members of the Municipal Council for Children and Adolescents.

It will be the latter who close the events of the day with the celebration of a Plenary at 5pm at the City Hall.
