Music, culture and urban sport joined in the UrbanCTFest III (11/11/2019)

The Carlos III Urban Sports Park lived for the third year the union of sport and culture at the UrbanCTFest festival by the Department of Youth of the City of Cartagena with competitions and exhibitions throughout the day last Saturday, November 9.

It was a space of coexistence with competitions and spectacle from 9 am in the morning with the Graffiti and Street Art contest, which was attended by Ambassadors of the National Graffiti League.

The exhibitions of Tattoo and modalities such as Parkour and Freerunning, Breaking, Tricking, Rap, Scooter, Bmx, Calisthenics, WorkOut, Inline Skating, Trialbici, Slackline or Krump, followed by the Skate championship, were not lacking.

For its part, the basketball court hosted from 10 am the battle of MC's and urban dance, followed by the Scratch Opentable.

The Councilor of the Area of ​​Youth and Culture, David Martínez, did not want to miss this popular event among young people accompanied by technicians of this councilor organizers.

The afternoon was starring in music with the DJ championship at 4pm, followed by the Beat Box and Loop Station tournaments, next to the Neusi and Aryón concert with DJ Charlybcn, for the first time in Cartagena, with Grison the orchestra man of the program Resistencia de Movistar, who put a final touch to the day.

Throughout the day, free workshops of Parkour, Slackline and Graffiti were also held, counting on this event with the collaboration of the Department of Social Services and Equality that set up a stand to raise awareness and inform about the dangers related to the consumption of drugs, as well as with a Violet Point.
