Information day in Cartagena on the development of the hearing skills of deaf children (25/10/2019)

Cartagena celebrates this Saturday, October 26, starting at 8:45 a.m., in the CIM Assembly Hall, the 40th day of information on the importance of the development of the hearing skills of children with deafness.

It is organized by APANDA (Association of Parents of Children with Hearing Impaired in Cartagena) Prince of Asturias Rehabilitation Center and has the collaboration of UPCT, ONCE Foundation, the Federation of Associations of Families of Deaf People of the Region of Murcia FASEN, the Spanish Confederation of Families of Deaf People FIAPAS, GAES medical, Listen to Audiological Centers and Advanced Bionics.

This event will be attended by the Mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belén Castejón and the Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Social Welfare, Noelia Arroyo.

The day will begin at 8:45 am with the welcome act of the first mayor and then there will be different presentations on the baby's hearing development and its assessment, the diagnosis and treatment of unisensory hearing loss (PAU), the importance of working phonological skills in children with deafness and the value of music in the hearing development of children with deafness.

This will be closed by the president of FIAPAS, José Luis Aedo.
