This Monday, September 16, the first volunteers will be launched towards the most affected homes in Cartagena after the effects of DANA in our municipality, mainly in Los Nietos and Los Urrutias.
All those who have wanted to participate in these cleaning tasks have been provided with material provided by Civil Protection and the City of Cartagena, coordinated from the Program of Involvement of the Department of Youth, such as plastic gloves, overalls, water boots , sweeping brushes and raederas.
Citizens who wish to sign up for these volunteer tasks can register before calling 968128923 or email implica2@ayto-cartagena.es.
Two shifts have been enabled, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, and the bus trip that will have its departure from the Cristina Esparza Youth Resource Center has been organized in the morning at nine o'clock, and in the afternoon at four , with return at two and eight in the afternoon respectively.
All volunteers must be over 16 years old and come with appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes.
