The ADLE trains 40 young people in Gardening and Masonry (31/07/2019)

In total, 40 young people enrolled in the Youth Guarantee System are conducting a theoretical and practical training course in gardening and masonry at the Cartagena Agency for Local Development and Employment in the Park of the Explorers of the Santa Ana Residential Estate.

20 gardeners and 20 bricklayers are receiving this course, which has a total duration of 9 months.

Of those, 3 have been theoretical and the other 6 practical.

This Wednesday, July 31, the Councilor for Education, Employment and Business, in addition to the president of the ADLE, Irene Ruiz, has visited the practical workshop that course participants are conducting.

This Project began on December 19, 2018 and will end on September 18, 2019. It has two training specialties constituting a Level 1 Professional Certificate:

.- Auxiliary Operations of Rigid Finishes and Urbanization

.- Gardening Auxiliary Operations, Nurseries and Garden Centers

The Mixed Employment and Training Programs are included in the measures to support job creation for the unemployed and, specifically, in this case, framed in the Operational Program for Youth Employment.

Its objective is that the participants acquire professional training and work practice through the realization of works of public utility and social interest related to new employment sites, allowing their subsequent insertion into employment, or on their own account through the creation of business projects or of social economy.

The duration of the PMEF-GJ EXPLORER PARK is nine months, during which the student-workers receive training in the classroom for the first three months, and are subsequently hired under the contract modality for the training for the remaining 6 months The project lasts.

During the alternation stage of training and work, students will carry out a recovery project for the Santa Ana Explorer Park.

The training content of the Project is subject to the contents of the Professional Certificates mentioned above.

The theoretical training will be given at the Quarry Occupational Training Center while work practices will be carried out in the Explorers Park located in the Santa Ana de Cartagena Polygon.

The Program involves the training of 40 student-workers and 4 people who, as Trainers, Administrative Assistant and Coordinator, form its technical team.

This PMEF has for its execution a budget of 360,419 euros co-financed by SEF, FSE and Municipal Contribution.

Upon completion, students will obtain the certificate of professionalism of the specialty in which they have been trained during these months that enables them to perform a job in the training skills they have successfully passed.
