Castejón highlighted as two axes of the meeting two of the priority objectives for this government team, the first one 'to make housing rental insurance much more known', for this purpose it is planned to carry out a specific campaign to disseminate This initiative with which it is intended to encourage private owners to put their homes on the market.

And secondly, 'to increase the public housing stock for rent of the City of Cartagena, we will continue negotiating and managing with the financial entities, and we will study in depth the existing regulations'.

As regards the quantitative data obtained from the Office of Attention, they reflect both the number of demands, 258 in total, and that of applied resources totaling 293, the majority in the form of financial aid, bank intermediation, launch stoppage , social rents and advice and information in general.

Special mention has been made of the work that is being carried out in the neighborhoods of Lo Campano and in the public housing of the Virgen de la Caridad neighborhood where, taking into account the particular circumstances of each area, an action is being carried out that enable a more comprehensive approach, a community intervention with a participatory, co-responsibility methodology, working so that neighbors assume responsibilities in decision making and in their solution process.

The different Working Groups that make up the Housing Board have been set up to resume the task in September.
