The Department of Education is preparing a calendar of actions in which will establish the needs of schools in Cartagena based on priority criteria.

For this, last week the mayor of the area, Irene Ruiz, held a meeting with the directors of the different centers of Early Childhood and Primary Education of the municipality in which she informed them that, starting next September, "I will do them get a form in which we detail the powers of both the City Council and the Autonomous Community, so that they indicate their needs based on the responsibility of each administration. "

The main objective of this initiative is to improve coordination with the management teams of each and every one of the educational centers of the municipality of Cartagena, while seeking greater efficiency when planning the Budgets of the Department of Education, as well as how to demand investments that are the responsibility of the regional government.

Finally, the councilor said that her intention is that "these meetings with the management teams are repeated periodically so that, together, we establish priorities in future actions."
