A total of eight students are those who have completed the Barrios program of the Local Development and Employment Agency, which closed this Friday, July 12, with the award ceremony held in the boardroom of the agency.
There have been six students who have collected their accreditation, as two of them have already obtained employment after the end of the course, by the Councilor for Education, Employment and Business, Irene Ruiz, along with the manager of the ADLE, Fulgencio Cerón.
The program began on April 29 with a duration of a total of 260 hours with the realization of occupational training activities both theoretical and practical in the specialty of urban maintenance for the unemployed.
This edition, held in Pozo Estrecho, aimed at unemployed students learning or improving a trade through training.
The training they have received has been theoretical in the classroom, where the modules for prevention of occupational hazards, masonry, painting and installations, as well as practice have been taught.
The student has put into practice what they have learned in the theoretical classes, thus improving their chances of accessing the labor market and contributing and improving the urban aspect of the neighborhood, the actions of small repairs of paint, masonry ... All these actions have been carried out in Plaza Jesús Guzmán, Carretera del Albujón, Plaza de la Sociedad Artístico-musical Santa Cecilia, San Jerónimo Avenue, Plaza de Pozo Estrecho and Plaza Pedro Conesa Zamora.
All the students who participate in this program have received a scholarship per day of training assistance of € 10 and guidance for employment.
The curricula of the students are being incorporated into the database of the Agency of Placement and it is intended with this workshop that students who complete it, are prepared to be able to perform full tasks of urban maintenance (garden cleaning, painting, masonry) .
