Vista Alegre is preparing for its XXXVIII Cultural Week with the re-release of'Jes Cristo Cristo Superstar ' (30/05/2019)

Next Saturday, June 8 will begin the XXXVIII Cultural Week of Vista Alegre, organized by the VISAL Cultural Collective in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Celebrations, Youth, Equality and Social Services of the City of Cartagena.

The activities of the program, which will be held for a week until June 15, will begin with a parade enlivened by a band of cornets and drums and the opening of the photographic exhibition '40 years of the GITVA group ', held in this edition its anniversary.

In addition, at 10 pm, the Variety Festival will take place with the groups of the neighborhood and the Ballet Mª Carmen Baños.

On Sunday 9 will take place the traditional 'Day of coexistence' with activities throughout the day as a walk to Sierra Gorda, in which participates Vista Alegre Trail, the chocolate with churros in the Plaza de los Reyes Católicos, the final of the Championship of Caliche and Petanca, organized by the 3rd age club, sports activities on the indoor soccer court, a large barbecue entertained by the groups Local 4 and Line 24, the modernist dance 'La mazurca de las sombrillas' or the children's parade , where gifts and sweets will be distributed.

During the days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be held the 'Theater Show' with performances aimed at both the little ones and adults with works such as' Little Red Riding Hood '(Teatro Cero),' Gallery of events with Ninette and a Señor de Murcia '(Aurora Redondo),' Poemas y sainetes' and 'Todo García Lorca' (Tanit Group) or the comedy 'We all have the same story' (Siete Comediantes), as well as children's animations and a night dedicated to the third age on Thursday.

The festivities will end on Saturday, June 15, at 10 pm, by the GITVA group of Vista Alegre and its re-release of the Rock Opera 'Jesus Christ Superstar', a work that turns forty years old when José Ros Cervantes created a group in 1979 of theater with his friends and decided to premiere this show, which he was able to see for the first time at the Isaac Peral Institute, with the performance of the group Filiu y Cia as party finale.
