This Tuesday, May 28, the deadline to present the documentation that accompanies the requests of those interested in participating in the summer 2019 activities scheduled by the Department of Education of the City of Cartagena ends.
The documents can be presented at the OMITAS, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and at the headquarters of the Department of Education, located at Calle Ronda, Ciudad de La Unión 4, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 16 to 19 o'clock in the afternoon.
As you will remember, the beginning of summer holidays can represent a real concern for families, as school holidays usually do not coincide with those of parents, so the Department of Education of the City of Cartagena has launched different activities, such as the Summer Schools, the workshops of the Sea and this year as a novelty, the youngest can enjoy musical theater.
In total, some 1,500 places were offered, a figure similar to last year's, of which some 1,050 corresponded to Summer Schools with a dining room that will be developed in 12 centers;
200, to Summer with Art and 240, to the Workshops of the Sea.
Interested parents were able to register their children by online application from 23 to 30 April.
On May 7 a public lottery was held for those activities that had the most requests and on May 9 the provisional list was published.
The claims made to this list were resolved before May 16, when the definitive list of registrants was announced.
From May 20 to May 28, the awardees have the deadline to submit the required documentation in each case, taking place the informative meetings of the activities from the month of June.
