The graduation ceremony was held in the central square of the Los Dolores Campus, together with the second promotions of the Degrees in Nursing, Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, Early Childhood Education and Primary of the Catholic University in the port city.

José María Alonso de Vega, General of Division and General Inspector of Health of Defense, has been the sponsor of the first promotion of Graduates in Physiotherapy and Criminology of the history of Cartagena, and the second promotion of the degrees in Nursing, in Activity and Sports Science, Early Childhood and Primary Education of the Los Dolores Campus, in an act that has been possible thanks to the five years of operation of the San Antonio Catholic University in Cartagena.

During the event, chaired by José Luis Mendoza, president of the UCAM, the students of these six titles have underlined the closeness of the teaching staff and how they have seen the constant improvements of a campus that is the result of a millionaire investment by the Foundation University San Antonio, which rehabilitated an old military barracks in a modern training complex with simulation and demonstration rooms, biochemistry and sports laboratories, gymnasium, library, cafeteria, study room, classrooms and anatomy rooms, among other facilities and equipment of excellence

In this emotional event the students have filled with colors with their scholarships the courtyard of the old barracks of Dolores with red (Criminology), light green (Physiotherapy), light gray (Nursing), green (Sports Science) and the middle gray (Education).

Between smiles and great emotion, the second graduates of the Campus of the UCAM in Cartagena have collected their diplomas accompanied by their families in a historic event for both the University and the entire region.

The UCAM has made it possible for Cartagena to study in their city careers that they could not take before, but above all it is attracting numerous students from other provinces and a significant percentage of foreign students, who contribute to social, economic and culturally the city.
