During the days of May 14 to 17, the AMPA of the school Luis Vives del Albujón held its II Week of Mobility-Bicycle.
Through this activity, it is intended to instill in the students as well as the parents, the benefits of using the bicycle in our day to day, benefits at the individual level for the practice of a sport activity in our daily work, and at a collective level, for the elimination of the automobile.
The activity quoted the participants in the Plaza Mayor, and from there they went all together to the school, making use of the bicycle and the helmet, since the latter is mandatory. A bicycle workshop was also held on Friday, May 11. , thanks to the collaboration of CEPAIM and that is part of the Community Health Days 'The Albujón moves', organized by the different Associations of the people.
Since the AMPA claim the signage of a bike path that passes through the school and continue to the sports hall annex, as it would help increase road safety of students and would be a positive reinforcement for the acquisition of this habit so healthy cyclist.
While waiting for the city council to start up the bike lane, the AMPA with the collaboration of the Neighborhood Neighborhood Board Albujón-Miranda, has installed some bicycle parking in the entrance of the school under the slogan 'Come to school without smoke' .
This activity, which has been very well received by the students, has also mobilized other groups in the town.
In addition, during the Fridays that remain until the end of the course, the Luis Vives school will continue participating in the 'Fridays for Future' campaign in favor of the environment and against pollution.
