97 percent of UP students pass the university entrance exam for over 25 years (17/05/2019)

The Popular University (UP) of the City of Cartagena held on Thursday May 16 at the Consistorial Palace the closing of the Preparation Course for the test of access to the University for over 25 years, which was attended by the councilor of the area of ​​Culture , David Martínez, the director of the UP, José Macián, the students enrolled who chose the test and the teachers, as well as the relatives and friends who wanted to join this event.

The councilor expressed a few words of thanks to the students for entrusting their preparation to the Popular University, at the same time congratulating them for achieving their goal of passing the entrance exam to the University, supported by perseverance in the study, as well as for the professionalism and good work of the teaching staff.

The mayor, who is professionally linked to teaching, motivated the students to continue their academic training and reminded them that everyone has a goal to achieve and a dream to be fulfilled;

Therefore, do not stop until you achieve it.

Of the 28 students over 25 years old, who showed up to pass this test, they have approved a total of 27, which means an approved index of 96.4%.

With these results the Popular University continues one more year reaping successes and being an important reference in this training field.

During the ceremony, all students received a diploma certifying the completion of the course and a memory of their participation in it, also spoke with the councilor, the director of the Popular University, José Macián and the training coordinator, Josefa Sabater.
