This year's edition of the U-Ranking on Spanish universities conducted by the BBVA Foundation reflects an increase in the performance of the Polytechnic of Cartagena (UPCT) in Innovation and Technology.

Specifically and with respect to the previous year, the UPCT has achieved more competitive projects, more contracts with companies (Article 83) and more patents by Teaching Staff Investigators (PDI).

The U-Ranking also recognizes the success of researchers at the Polytechnic of Cartagena in achieving six-year terms and in the percentage of publications in the first quartile.
