Two hundred and fifty people have signed up to volunteer at the Night of the Museums (13/05/2019)

Two hundred and fifty people have registered to be volunteers at the Night of the Museums to be held in Cartagena on Saturday, May 18.

As in previous editions, this collaboration is framed within the Implica2 Program (Young People Committed in Cartagena), promoted by the Youth Council and aimed at promoting the social participation of young people in Cartagena, as well as a number of entities and programs such as they are the Vice-rectorate of Students, University Extension and Sports of the UPCT, students of the branch of History of the UNED, Association of Guides of Museums, Federation of Feasts of Carthaginians and Romans, CIFP of Hospitality and Tourism, Youth Correspondents, volunteers of Cartagena Free of Rumors and other individuals.

On Friday, May 10, the first meeting took place with future volunteers who will opt for the sponsorship of unique pieces of the different museums, accompanying the routes and guided tours, informative advice and logistical support in the various activities that will take out throughout that day.

Students who study at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) or the UNED Cartagena in the branch of History, may benefit from ECTS credits, performing their functions in spaces provided by each of the universities.

The volunteers have become a fundamental pillar so that the Night of the Museums of Cartagena is special, without whose help the dimension that this project has been acquiring throughout its ten editions would not have been possible.
